She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Garton; and her sons, Donald E. Garton and Robert W. Garton. She is survived by: her children, Tina (Ahmet), Laurie (John), Lisa (Cary) and William (Pamela); and her daughter-in-law Stella. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Jerome's Catholic Church (5205 43rd Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
