He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Barry Sherman. He is survived by: his mother Zella Corrine Sherman (Getty) of Clarksburg; his uncle Leonard; his aunt Selma Sherman; and his cousins, Abe, Susan Zwany and George D. Getty, Jr..
