In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Arthur leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Arthur may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He is survived by: his wife June Orndorff Pickett; his sons, Brian H. (Crystal) of Mt. Airy, MD and David H. (Beth) of New Windsor, MD.; his grandchildren, Christopher Pickett (Sarah), Kori Hill (Dustyn) and Victoria Strosnider (Stephen); and his great grandchildren, Hardy, Palmer, Caleb and Ashtyn.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Slack Funeral Home (3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (11795 MD-216, Laurel, MD 20759).
