With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Byron Smyth of Clarksville, Maryland, who passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Yvonne Smyth and Willam Smyth (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, John E. (Leslie), Scott, Michelle (TJ), Renee (Paul) and Nichole (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Rebecca (Smyth), Mac, Sydney (McDermott), Isabella, Catalina, Mare, Paul (Lennon), Meghan and Michael (Henderson).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville (12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (8300 Old Columbia Rd, Fulton, MD 20759). A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735).
