He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Farrell (Hawkins) and John Farrell; and his son-in-law Matthew Smith-Farrell. He is survived by: his wife Marie Joan Farrell (Hetu); his children, Joanne Smith-Farrell of Wellesley, MA and Rick Farrell; his grandchildren, Ricky, Bridget, Jay Farrell, Alana, Aveleen and Caileigh Smith-Farrell; and his brothers, Jack Farrell of Rhode Island and Ed Farrell of Rhode Island. He is also survived by family, he had a wide circle of nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.
