With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Amelia Miles of Clear Spring, Maryland, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul C. Reid and Mary Reid (Hart); her husband John A. Miles, Sr.; her siblings, Paul E. Reid, Donald L. Reid, Earl B. Reid, Roy A. Reid and Lolita M. Divelbiss; her brothers-in-law, Raymond Divelbiss Sr. and Charles "Pig" Hose, Sr.; and her son-in-law Hubert.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Harrison of Hagerstown, John A. Miles, Jr. (Kathy) of Clear Spring, Lola Keefer (Larry) of Mercersburg, PA, Mary Eshleman (Kevin) of Mercersburg, PA and Dean Miles (Laura) of Clear Spring; her grandchildren, Cheryl Harriso Mills (Matt), Sabrina LeHew (Scott), Kristie Barnhart (Bob), Johnny Miles (Sara), Katie Hoover (Jason), Donovan Keefer (Theresa), Shawn Keefer (Jenni), Dana McAllister (Chad), Terri Mumma (Gene), Bobbie Jo Barnhart (Scott), Amy Eshleman, Jaime Eshleman, Jessica Miles (Andy) and Brooke Miles (Keith); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Garrett Lee, Sam, Grace LeHew, Ryne Mills, Atlee, Sawyer, Finn, Emery Barnhart, Savannah, Bryant, Ellie Miles, Kendal, Kara, Jake Hoover, Baylee, Chloee Keefer, Skylar, Hannah McAllister, Julie Miller, Jennifer Koontz, Evan Beckley, Brandon, Kaylee Barnhart, Casey Murray, Alexis Snook, Gage Westurn, Piper, Wyatt Reed, Kolton, Emma Hovis, Charlotte, Kipp and Willow Cooper; her great great grandchildren, Addison Beckley, Braydon, Emily Ocasio, Cambrie Baker, Cayson, Easton, Kathleen Koontz and Macie Murray; her siblings, Maurice Reid (Gerry) of Hagerstown, Roselyn Welch (Leon) of Hagerstown and Faye Hose of Williamsport; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Reid and Sue Reid. She is also survived by many many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Polly was a regular supporter to the American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association.
