He was predeceased by: his father John Vernon Alexander Mullendore. He is survived by: his mother Deanna Jean Mullendore (Shupp) of Clear Spring; his wife Joanna Mullendore (Taylor); his son Lear Mullendore; and his sister Leslie Chaney (Eric).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joe's honor for his son, Lear.
