Miriam Ruth Shatzer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Miriam Ruth Shatzer (Clear Spring, Maryland), born in Williamsport, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Elizabeth Palmer and Edward "Bunk" Charles Ardinger; her grandparents, Charles T., Annie Palmer, Salisbury Street and Williamsport High; her brother Richard Ardinger; her children, James "Gus" Dibert and Mary Anne Swinehart; her granddaughter Natasha Renee Henson; and her great grandchild Aubrie Strode-Dunn.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Shatzer; her daughter Michelle Henson (Ted); her stepson Terry Shatzer (Tonya Foltz); her grandchildren, Richard, David, Derek, Bethany, Josh, Nikita, Jeremiah and Bobby; her stepsiblings, Mickey Ardinger and Dolly Jones; and her pet Pilot.
Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family following her wishes of donating her body for scientific research.
