He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Franklin and Hazel Irene Hose (Sharer); his wife Florence Lorraine Hose (Halstead); his son Paul D. Hose, Jr.; and his siblings, Stella Sacrey, Henrietta Weller, Sylvester Hose, Alvey Hose, Clyde Hose and Harry Hose.

He is survived by : his children, Mary Ellen Hose, Steven L. Hose (Teresa), Randy L. Hose and Dennis W. Hose. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Osborne Funeral Home (425 S Conococheague St, Williamsport, MD 21795). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park.
