She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Louis Yates, Sr. and Agnes Jeannette Tennyson Yates; and her siblings, Joseph Lewis Yates, Francis Ira Yates, Mary Evelyn Clarke, Alice Jeannette Foley, John Bernard Yates, Dale Yates, Carole Marie Alvey and Thomas Brent Yates.
She is survived by: her sisters, Linda Ann Williams and Winifred Jo Kopacko. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home (41590 Fenwick St, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A prayer was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (29119 Point Lookout Rd, Mechanicsville, MD 20660).
