It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pamela Michelle Ferris of Clements, Maryland, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Morris Wayland Modlin; her nephew Christopher Morris Branson; her great-nephew Christian Nathaniel Mims; and her daughter Tara. She is survived by: her mother Jacqueline Modlin Jones; her sisters, Cynthia Modlin Branson (Ronald), Sandra Modlin Lange (William), Melanie Modlin Spicer (Bernard) and Wendy Modlin Veon (James); her daughter Jessica (Ryan); and her grandchildren, Declan and Landon. She is also survived by her loving grandnieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory (30195 Three Notch Rd, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cheltenham United Methodist Church (11111 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pam's memory to one of the following: Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad (MVRS) or Cheltenham United Methodist Church.
