As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alan Jerome may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Roger W. Carruthers, Cynthia P. Wooten and Lamont N. Carruthers Jr.; and his mother Golder Kiser Scales. He is survived by: his husband Mark B. Davis; and his sister Vontalaria D. Martin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; and a host of treasured friends who were touched by his warmth.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association — causes that reflect Alan's spirit of giving and care.
