He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnaldo Garro and Ernestina Garro; and his sisters, Julia Garro and Maria Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his sister Teresa Roehrig; his children, Lisa Garro Strehmel, V. M. (Greg Strehmel) of Tony Garro, M. D. and Pilar Garro (Kathleen Porter); his granddaughter Isabella Vance; and his stepgranddaughter Sophia Strehmel.
