With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Marine Moore (Clinton, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Scott and Dorothy Handy; and her siblings, Shirley Handy-Corum and Steve Handy. She is survived by: her husband Walter; her sons, Kenny (Deidre) and Kevin (Melba); her grandchildren, Caleb Moore, Makayla Moore and Ella Moore; and her siblings, Dorothy Handy-Kelley and Samuel Handy (Lena). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lee Funeral Home (6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd, Clinton, MD 20735). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
