It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James O. Ealey of Clinton, Maryland, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Ealey; his children, Lydia Ealey, James Ealey II (Maxine) and Deidre Lawson; his stepchildren, Robert Humphrey III (Wendy) and Yasmine Toye (Richard); and his sister Claudia Lewis. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dupont Park Seventh Day Adventist Church (3985 Massachusetts Ave SE, Washington, DC 20019). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
