With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Headley (Clinton, Maryland), born in La Plata, Maryland, who passed away on September 15, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jane leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thora May Pendergraft and Foy Pendergraft (John H. Headley); and her son Thomas H. Headley II. She is survived by: her children, John P. Headley (Donna Headley) and Carrie M. Heselius (Cody Heselius); and her brother-in-law James E. Headley (Joan Headley). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great granddaughters and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Independent Baptist Church (9255 Piscataway Rd, Clinton, MD 20735).
