Jesse left this world on October 8, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chancey Wright and Ruby Wright; and his siblings, James Keith, Jr., Jean Spearman (Lollipop), Ann Marie Bennett and Mattie C. Mitchell.
He is survived by: his child Andre'Kareem; his wife Helen Deloris Wright; his children, Bridgette Rhodes (Norman) of Goldsboro, NC, Andre'Wright, Sr. of Waldorf, MD and Marion Kerr of Ivanhoe, NC; his grandchildren, Alexis Brown of Hopewell, VA, Samantha James (Jeffrey) of Charleston, SC, Andre'Wright, Jr. of Clinton, MD, LaMessia Herring of Orangeburg, SC and Davion Vann of Ivanhoe, NC.; and his great grandchildren, Alexandria James, Sloane Mitchell, AnniBelle James, Alana Turner and Anthony Turner III.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Camp Springs (6936 Allentown Rd, Temple Hills, MD 20748). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
