He is survived by: his wife Delores Peterson; his brother James Peterson (Radie); and his children, Jeffery Peterson (Michelle), Robyn Peterson, Joseph T. Peterson (Lisa), Margaret Peterson-James, Kimberly DeShields (Timothy), Kahima Jones, Steven Jones and Shyrief Jones. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
