We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2026, at the age of 98, Lucy McCamey (Clinton, Maryland), born in Camden, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lucy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lucy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Willie" Lewis and Jennie M Lewis (Smith). She is survived by: her son Chauncey (Carol Ann); her grandchildren, Sereena Bush (Tony), Andre McCamey (Beth), Shoncie Delaney (Milton), Antonio Richards (Leslie), Kelli McCamey and Erica McCamey; and her nieces, Charlene McCamey (Andre Fisher), Carolyn Taylor (Tyrone) and Cheryl Winston (Gregg). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Love Fellowship Christian Ministries (9901 Brandywine Rd, Clinton, MD 20735). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
