He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oscar and Myrtle Sutton Holmes; his grandson Craig L. Bond II; and his siblings, Evelyn Holmes Fisher, Phillip Holmes and Yvonne Holmes-Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn J Holmes; his children, Tondria Bond (Craig), Shavone Allen and Michael Lucas (Iyesha); his grandchildren, Candace Bond, Cameron Bond, Alaysha Bond, Javone Allen, James Allen, Tyree Lucas and King-Isaiah Camacho; and his sister Jacqueline Holmes-Lowery. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Ennon Baptist Church (9832 Piscataway Rd, Clinton, MD 20735). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
