He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Herring and Walter Parker, Sr.; his mother-in-law Lillie F. Stackhouse; and his sister Carol Hazzard. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Katrina Briscoe (Stan), Reginald Parker and Anissa Saunders (Rick); his grandchildren, Jewell, D'Andre, Jordan, Jared, Justin, Jeremiah and Kamari; his great grandchildren, Harlow, Journi and Parker; his siblings, Lacy (Carol), Vincent, Doug (Virlene), Daphine and Jackie; and his siblings-in-law, Julian Stackhaus (Christine), Eugene Stackhouse, Jimmie Lee Wright and Lillie Francis Procter. He is also survived by wife, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and the countless family, friends.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he also watched online services at Full Life Ministries, where his son-in-law Rick is senior pastor.
