She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Patrick McGuire, Jr.; her children, Abigail McGuire Matia and John Patrick McGuire, III; her siblings, Mary Vaden, Christopher and Georgia Walker; and her grandsons, John Patrick McGuire IV, William Francis Matia, Christopher Held Matia and Daniel Christian McGuire. She was also cherished by six nieces and nephews and four great-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to support the Rosemary de la Reguera Scholarship, established at Mercy High School in honor of Raquel's mother.
