With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Phillips Winter of Colesville, Maryland, who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Phillips Winter and Letitia Patterson Clark Winter; his wife Emmy Lou Collins Winter; his brother Harry Clark Winter; and his son James Wesley Winter.

He is survived by: his daughter Catherine; his son-in-law John Oliver of Laurel; and his grandchildren, Evan, Shannon, Andrew and Mary Oliver.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Colesville United Methodist Church, 52 Randolph Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904.
