He was predeceased by : his wife Theresa Sefcik; and his siblings, Margaret Slatca, Theresa Kolakowski, George Sefcik, Dorothy Zaykoski, Helen Wadis and Joseph Sefcik.

He is survived by : his brother John Sefcik; his nieces and nephews, Lawrence Sefcik (Delfina), David Sefcik (Donna), Connie Key (Johnny), Janine Dolinka (Tim) and Marcia Gottesman (Seth); and his great grandchildren, Jace, Carter, Camden, Violet, Noella, Jude and Calvin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
