With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Peggy Powell of College Park, Maryland, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Esther Scott and Forrest Scott of Saranac, MI.. She is survived by : her son Scott Wesley (Dolores); her husband Rex; her sisters, Bonnie and Donna; and her grandchildren, Stephanie (Benjamin), Charles, Jonathan and Trish.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Berwyn Presbyterian Church (6301 Greenbelt Rd, Berwyn Heights, MD 20740).

In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741) or Berwyn Presbyterian Church (6301 Greenbelt Road, Berwyn Heights, MD 20740).
