With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roy Lee Bright of Colora, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenzy Thomas Bright and Leona Maude Bright (VanScoy); his wife Bonnie Bright; his daughter Kristina Bright; his siblings, Darl Bright (Elaine) and Opal King (Harry); his nephews, Allen King and Randy King; and his nephew-in-law Steve.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura L. Bright and Terri Bright; his niece Connie Purdum; his great-nephews, Andrew (Ashleigh) and Brandon King; his great-niece Jackie Minnick; his in-laws, Danny, Lola McLaughlin, John, Marie Madron, Rick and Doris Riecke; and also, Sue King, Travis (Amy), Erin (Shaun), Shawn Madron (Nicole), Philip Madron (Taylor) and Konrad (Chuck).
A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brookview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests supporting animal rescues through adoption, volunteering, or monetary donations made payable to any animal shelter, and send in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
