He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel J. Sr. Sullivan and Dorothy A. Sullivan of Memphis; his son Brian; and his brother Robert Palmer of Michigan City, Indiana.. He is survived by : his wife Pat Sullivan; his children, Lisa Sullivan of Columbia, MD and Joe Sullivan of Columbia, MD; his sisters, Esther Gideon and Linda King; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Dempsey (Ken), Robert Jones (Judy), James Jones (Bonnie) and Don Jones (Marion). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meadowridge Memorial Park (7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's of the Mills Catholic Church (114 St Marys Pl, Laurel, MD 20707).
