She was predeceased by: her husband Neale Kurlander; her brother Sanford Wachtel; her daughter-in-law Helene Kurlander; and her parents, Sara Wachtel and Charles Wachtel.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. Harold Kurlander and Dr. Susan Madonna (Richard); her grandsons, Michael Kurlander (Noelle), Clifford Kurlander (Lindsey), David Madon, Charles Madonna (Emma) and Jeffrey Madonna; and her great grandchildren, Adam Kurlander, Jason Kurlander and Sara Madonna.
