Rodger W. Hippen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodger W. Hippen of Columbia, Maryland, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Elizabeth Joan Hippen (Joan). He is survived by : his father Lorin Hippen; his daughters, Tori and Victoria Hippen (Tori); his siblings, Randall Hippen (Sandra) and Lori Scarbel (Steven); his nieces and nephews, Brandon Scarbel, Ryan Scarbel (Jaimie), Tyler Hippen, Matthew Wagner, Benjamin Wagner, Joshua Amburgey, Noah Amburgey, Kaitlin Hippen, Sydney Scarbel and Brittanie Coleman (Bill); his great-aunt Nancy; his aunts, Gale and Arlys; his uncle John; and his cousins, Debbie, Linda, Sandy, Chrissy and Tricia Rothlingshofer.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to THON at Penn State, a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer.
