He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Duffy and Margaret Duffy; and his daughter Colleen Duffy Brickley. He is survived by: his wife Nuala FitzGerald; his children, Patrick Duffy (Lynda) and Micaela Crooks (Todd); his son-in-law Edward Brickley; and his grandchildren, Mairéad, Bridget, Shannon Brickley, Caitlin, Caroline, Mia Duffy, Maire, Brianna and Stephen Crooks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville (12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029).
