We announce the death of Una Thompson of Columbia, Maryland, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 97. Una will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Estella Thompson and Theodore Thompson; and her son Roy. She is survived by: her children, Mavis, Veta, Pearl, Evelyn, Sybil, Paulette, Donald Johnson (Danny) and Jacqueline Beecher (Jacquie); her grandchildren, Karissa and Christine Beecher; and her siblings, Sheila Thompson and Ashley Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
