With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Rebecca Blades Asche of Cordova, Maryland, who passed away on November 26, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry B. Blades and Della Moore Blades; her husband Paul Julius Asche; and her siblings, Ellen Manahan, Virginia Satchell, Paul Blades, Robert Blades and Gene Blades.
She is survived by: her brothers, John Blades and Bryan Blades. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (12095 Blades Rd, Cordova, MD 21625). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at the St. Paul's Church Cemetery (12095 Blades Rd, Cordova, MD 21625).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cordova Volunteer Fire Department, 11864 Kitty's Corner Road, Cordova, MD 21625 or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 12095 Blades Road, Cordova, MD 21625.
