He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dr. Bruce T. Michnick, Jerry Lynn Smith and Joanne P. Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Dr. Lawrence Steven Michnick and Deanne Kendra Michnick; his sister Sarena Joanne Michnick; and his grandmother Judith Deborah Michnick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joshua's name to the Worcester County Humane Society, honoring his lifelong affection for animals and commitment to their well-being.
