He is survived by: his wife Yumiko Hayden; his sons, Eddie Hayden of East New Market, Gary Hayden (Terra) of Crapo and Jimmy Hayden (Heather) of Wingate; his grandchildren, Lauren (Josh) of Toddville, Buddy of Cambridge, Taylor (Chris) of Hudson and Dylan (Chelsie) of Rhodesdale; and his pet Libby. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery (6827 E New Market Ellwood Rd, Hurlock, MD 21643).
