It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Clarabelle Rhoads (Cresaptown, Maryland), who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband C. Donald Rhoads; and her parents, Helen Lillian and Ralph Henry Constable. She is survived by: her children, Earl Freeman, Linda Hafer, Kevin Rhoads and Carol Rhoads (Jerry); her grandchildren, Danny, Tommy, Ellie, Kim, Terri, Cara, Lillian, Perrin, Rooney and Olive Joy; and her stepgrandchildren, Zack, Emily, Brittany and Cassandra.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Pauls Lutheran Church (15 N Smallwood St, Cumberland, MD 21502).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Cumberland, MD.
