He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas Brittingham, Sr. and Belmont Somers Brittingham; and his brother Keith Brittingham. He is survived by: his children, Charles T. "Charlie" Brittingham, III (Michele Brittingham), Chelsy Lynn Brittingham (Ronnie Sterling, Jr.) and Joey Brittingham; and his grandchildren, Skylar Alivia Brittingham and Maci Grace Brittingham.
