He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Cornelius A. Merrill, Sr. and Carey Maddox; and his uncle Robert "William" Handy. He is survived by: his parents, Darryl A. Merrill, Sr. and Kirsten Brown; his children, Dayonna of Darryl, III, Princess Merrill, Jaliyah and Jamiyah Taylor; his siblings, Nathaniel, Navon, Za'Kee Merrill and Serenity Merrill; his grandparents, Angel Bishop Shelton, Irving Brown and Edna Merrill; and his great-grandparent Bernice Hill-Graham. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts and other relatives and friends.
