With sadness, we share the passing of Douglas Wayne Nelson of Crisfield, Maryland. Douglas, born on September 11, 1956, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Lewis and Josephine Ellen Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Linda C. Nelson; his stepchildren, Kelly Dize Reese and Ryan Dize; his siblings, Bonnie Bradshaw (Bobby), Beth Whitelock (Craig) and Lewis Nelson (Phyllis); his nieces, Mary Beth Bradshaw Coale (Roman), Lindsay Atkins (Mark), Bobbie Lynn Tyler (Deric), Amy Todd (Toddie), Robin Daniels and Joelle Whitelock; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lainie, Dusti-Kate Pruitt, Addison, Graham Coale, Audrey Brice, Miranda, Noel, Ben Atkins, Jaxon, Jett, Jemma Tyler, Alex Todd, Samantha Gillis, Elijah and Emory Daniels; his sister-in-law Sharon Price (Chappy); his nephew Brian Price; and his godchildren, Jett Tyler, Nate, Jacob and Simon Evans. He is also survived by many special friends and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Crisfield, MD 21817). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
