It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Headley Cox of Crisfield, Maryland, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Headley Cox to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William James and Mary Alice Headley; her husband Austin Cox, Sr.; her daughter Deborah Emely; her granddaughter Megan Johnson; her son-in-law Lex Tyler; and her siblings, Robert, John and Elice.

She is survived by : her children, Christine Tyler, Sandra Johnson (Phil), Julia Cox, Austin Cox, Jr. (Evelyn) and Elizabeth Powers (Harry); her son-in-law Paul Emely; and her grandchildren, Toby Tyler, Katy Tyler, Wesley Tyler (Michele), Nathan Tawes (Teresa), Jennifer Tawes, Stephanie Johnson, Christy Emely, Erik Emely (Jamie), Stephen Emely (Kim), Heather Insley (Sam), Chelsea Eskridge (Nick), Hunter Cox, Elice Campbell (Chris), Rebecca Grande (Colin) and Heather Powers. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
