He is survived by: his mother Ruth Rowland Rees of Virginia Beach; his wife Katherine Lawson Rees of Crisfield; his son Bryan Lawson Rees (Harley) of Crisfield; his sister Karen Rees Frieberg (Dave); his siblings' children, Reese (Tricia) and Lucas (Vincinza); his sister Susan Rees McSpadden (Ken); his siblings' children, Andrew and Catlin; his grandsons, Brody and Colton Rees; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Reed, Parker, Easton, Elijah and Noah; his father-in-law Oliver Lawson (Joan F. Lawson); and his sisters-in-law, Karen Lawson and Kristy Lawson (Brian).
