She was predeceased by : her parents, Rodney Eugene Nelson and Maude Evelyn Riggin Nelson; her husband James Blaine "J. B." Green; and her granddaughters, Candace Lynn Green and Crystal Lynn Bozman.

She is survived by : her children, Eloise Green Preas (Harold G. Preas, Jr.) of Lynchburg, VA and Jeffrey Eugene Green (Paula Green) of Marion; her grandchildren, Caroline Ashley Preas Siemer (Matt) of Fuquay Varina, NC, Anne Elizabeth Preas of Seattle and Lauren Michelle Green of Cambridge; and her close friends, Neva Rae Howard of Marion and Lana McCready of Crisfield.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that all donations be made to the National Alzheimer's Association.
