He was predeceased by : his mother Elizabeth Ann Byrd Tyler; his wife Betty Lee Jones Balderson; and his brother Robert Lee "Bobby" Balderson. He is survived by : his children, Terrie Crockett (David) of Crisfield, Billy Balderson (Christa) of Wilmington, DE and Jamie Balderson (Terri) of Crisfield; his grandchildren, Amy Lee Martini (Rick), Roni Lynn Cox (Cranston), DJ Crockett (Amber), Jay Balderson (Danielle), MaryKate Balderson and Grace Balderson; his great grandchildren, Autumn Smith, Frankie Panzo, Domenic Panzo, Savannah Bozman, Cambree Cox, Owen Balderson, Daniel Balderson, Allaiah Pilkerton and Jason Evans, Jr.; and his niece Valerie Howard (Tim) of Crisfield. He is also survived by Chihuahua "Rosie"; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
