He is survived by: his wife Wilma Ortiz; his stepchildren, John (Danielle) and Janina Ortiz; his children, Beth Kreunen and Bryan Phelps (Christie); his grandchildren, Evey, Bekah, Kriss, Keri, C. J. Kreunen, Katelynn, Austin, Bryson and Peyton Phelps; his stepgranddaughter Ravenna Ortiz; his siblings, Patti Phelps, Gloria Coulson (David), Karen Kaschner (Barry), Tom (Barb) and John Phelps (Laura); and his sister-in-law Sheila Phelps.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Redemption House Life Center (502 Victory Way, Pasadena, MD 21122). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Cemetery Chapel.
