Walter Carrier wrote a sympathy message

“Debbie (Wally as I called her) was a beautiful woman full of love. We were stationed at Ft Meade together. I came to know her during a very difficult time in my life as I was going through a divorce and she was the friend I needed at the time a needed a friend the most. We spent the next 2-3 years hanging around together, doing Volkes Marches, working out at the gym, going to mass, and just spending hours talking. May God be with her and her family always. The other Wally, Walter Carrier.”
