He is survived by: his sister Mary Ann Messenger; his children, Joseph Raymond Novotny (Lisa), Jeffrey Thomas Novotny, Matthew Francis Novotny, Sr. (June) and Malarie Patricia Zeeks; his grandchildren, Felicia Adele Novotny-Davis (Connor), Caroline Alma Donia Lastfogel, Ashley Marie Novotny (Jacob), Andrew Joseph Novotny and Matthew Francis Novotny, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Juliette Patricia Zeeks, Nora Adele Davis and Luca Joseph Dale Jackson.
