He was predeceased by : his wife Wanda; and his son-in-law Ronald. He is survived by : his daughter Margaret Petersen; his grandchildren, Conrad and Camille; and his great grandchildren, John, Jacob and Charlotte. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (1800 Seton Dr, Crofton, MD 21114). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Doctors without borders.
