He is survived by: his wife Dr. Temmie Shade; his sister Laura; his brother-in-law Mike O'Connor; his daughters, Stephanie Shade and Stacey Shade-Ware; his son-in-law Russ Ware; and his granddaughters, Gabrielle and Bren Shade-Ware.
