Arettia Nair Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 2, 2026, at the age of 99, Arettia Nair of Cumberland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgie Cave, and Albert Randolph Cave, Sr.; her husband Reverend Robert L. Nair; her brothers, Albert, Jr., Adolph and Arlo Cave; and her siblings-in-law, Norman Secrist, Mary and Betty Cave.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Wilson, Teresa Waugerman (David) of Ridgeley, WV and Robert Nair; her granddaughters, Robbi Duke (Doug) and Lauren Wilson; her great grandchild James Duke; and her sister Anna Secrist of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by married the love of her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
