He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henry Brown and Lillian Arbutus Brown (Miller); his wife Audrie Alice Brown; his son Arthur Brown, II; his great grandchild Iris Flanagan; and his siblings, Ruth Porter, Dorothy Kerns, Harley Brown, James Brown, Sharon Cowgill and Catherine Wandless.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Bittner, Diana Turner, Cindy Lacey, Steven Brown and David Brown (Noel); his sisters, Naomi Lynch and Janice McBride; his grandchildren, Jason Bittner, Hope Crawford, Christopher Bittner, Tristan Apple and Isaac Turner (Jenny); and his great grandchildren, Samantha Lewis, Caleb Cornwell, Blake Rhodes, Chandler Rhodes, Sparrow Shannon, Graycee Jo Turner and Willow Turner. He is also survived by his great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
