With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Rae Crigger in Cumberland, Maryland, born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on May 3, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar H. Crigger and Alice V. Boykin (Yost); and the father of her children James A. Mertz. She is survived by: her siblings, Michael Crigger (Gloria) of Hancock, MD, Carol Wolford (Elmer) of Romney, WV and Susan Corle of Keyser, WV; and her children, Michael Mertz, Donna Bedenbaugh, Janet Mertz and Veronica Mertz. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
